“I just came here to get a schwarma” quipped Romney uber-supporter Sheldon Adelson, when dodging a reporter’s question as to why the businessman, who makes his money in China, would be present at a Jerusalem fundraiser.
His fellow Romney supporters all laughed, even though none of them had ever heard of a schwarma.
If he did indeed order the greasy Middle Eastern street food, it was most likely served in a copy of Israel Today, a low-grade free paper that is disrupting the Israeli media landscape and bankrolled by Adelson.
