Meghan McCain, daughter of presidential candidate and anti-veteran activist John McCain, is herself a rising voice in the Republican party. She has this to say about the selection of Paul Ryan as Mitt Romney’s running mate:
“I, like, totally support Paul Ryan as Vice President. I think he, like, represents, like, the future of the Republican party. I don’t know why so many liberals are making such as big deal out of his record on women. So what if he, like, totally limits access to reproductive health in the U.S.? Why so much drama about it, ladies? You can just got to Switzerland and do whatever. Plus, that way you get a European vacation. It’s a win-win for everybody.
“I also think his, like, wife Janna is totally rad. It’s awesome to be a career woman and do all kinds of cool stuff on the Hill, but it’s always the right thing to, like, drop everything you’re doing to be a wife and mother. When I get married, I’m, like, totally going to be subservient to my husband’s ambitions.
“Joe Biden, like, is so like, guh, an idiot. He is like a gross old grandpa who is always making gaffes and stuff. He totally thinks that systematic denial of voting rights to minorities and continual reversals of civil rights legislation is going to take us back to slavery times or whatever. We should, like, have a visionary like Ryan as President. Did I mention he was a dreamboat? I would so give up any chance of workplace gender parity to be with him.
“I’m really excited about the future of the Republican party now. I’m going to, like, stop now so I can focus on pie-baking, just like Paul wants.”
